CW&CCW, How to choose,1 or 2?

CW (Clockwise) and CCW (Counter-Clockwise) Thrusters:

CW (Clockwise) Thrusters:

    • How It Works: Spins in a clockwise direction when viewed from behind the thruster.
    • Effect: Moves water in a specific direction to create forward or reverse thrust, depending on how it's mounted.
    • Use: Common in systems where clockwise rotation is needed for proper thrust direction.
  1. CCW (Counter-Clockwise) Thrusters:

    • How It Works: Spins in a counter-clockwise direction when viewed from behind the thruster.
    • Effect: Moves water in the opposite direction of CW thrusters, creating thrust in the desired direction.
    • Use: Often used in systems requiring counter-clockwise rotation for balanced thrust.

Choosing Between CW and CCW:

  • Single Thruster: If using only one thruster, CCW is often recommended due to its common use and compatibility with various systems.
  • Dual Thruster Systems: Typically, one CW and one CCW thruster are used together to ensure balanced and stable thrust.

When choosing a single underwater thruster, it’s generally recommended to go with a CCW (Counter-Clockwise) thruster. This is because:

Common Use: CCW thrusters are more commonly used and available in the market.

Compatibility: They tend to be more compatible with various systems and applications.
